As I may have mentioned in previous posts, I grew up in a traditional Polish household. Some specialties many of you are familiar with, such as Pierogi and Bigos. But there are others that aren't so popular such as my liverwurst sandwiches (which make Mrs. Journeychic raise an eyebrow but it's really like meatloaf, kind of) and Polish style herring. After a weekend of painting our living room (Behr's "Sagey"), I'm super-excited to start decorating. There are so many great options out there for bringing the world into your home.
