With football season in full swing, there’s always a great spread of food to be found somewhere. Eating out in Istanbul: Kumkapi
When I travel for business I typically have no more than two nights in each city, which doesn't leave very much time to explore. At the airport, at the hotel, and then in meetings all day, I look forward to a good meal at night - preferably in an interesting spot. Foodie Fridays: Petit pain au chocolat (Chocolate filled croissant)
Oh how I miss those French patisseries (pastry shops). Nothing beats walking around and catching a waft of all the goodies when a customer exited one of these. My favorite is the very simple pain au chocolat, or chocolate croissant. Towards the end of my time studying abroad, I can’t remember how, but a couple of us became friendly with a baker.
