Pottery Barn?!
The new Wakefield Chandelier is definitely unique, and has the potential to be either a gorgeous statement piece or a super-tacky eyesore depending on what you affix to it.
I wonder how high the risk is for a potential fire? I’ve been looking for creative ways to display my collection of postcards…
Love it or hate it?

I was thinking the same thing when I saw chandalier! So great to meet you last night. Hope we can all do it again soon. Love your blog!
you and are on the same lighting fix right now. I cannot look at lowe’s or HD again. I personally do not love the card look, it seems kind of messy to me but I need symmetry. I have 5 more lighting fixtures I need to buy and have completely run out of steam.
I agree, if done right that one can look really amazing. Great to finally meet you last night! I had a ball!
I was thinking the same thing when I saw it in the catalog!
I think I am on the fence about it! I like the second, more symmetrical image probably the best. Postcards would work well! (By the way, I just stumbled upon your blog today and love it already! Looking forward to reading more!)
love it! this is so cool.
I would go so far as to print photos on semi-translucent paper and use those instead of postcards. Or have your guests write quotes/notes ala the Yoko Ono Wish Tree (http://www.a-i-u.net/wishtree2.html)
Reminds me a bit of a restaurant where order tickets get clipped up by waiters….that said, artfully arranged, this could be fun!
I love this too. No idea where I could use it practically in my home but I think it would be a lovely addition to a stationary or book store.
I am desperate to find the Wakefield chandelier! If anyone knows of one for sale I sure would appreicate the information!
