Decorating by the numbers

October 12, 2009
by JourneyChic

In my years in marketing I’ve become a bit obsessed with numbers and have developed an unnatural fondness for pivot tables. I was always terrible at math, but love when Excel does it for me and everything adds up to a successful marketing activity.

Numbers can add up to successful decor, too. I realize it’s not a new trend, but still love the idea of adding some numerals to a room.

I like this look, but particularly when it incorporates vintage items. It’s a great way to add a bit of character to a new room.
