Getting caught up…

I had a very busy weekend that left me with zero time to write up this week’s posts.
My weekend consisted of:
- Attending a decorating class at the home of Kyle Freeman, a writer for the Boston section of Apartment Therapy (and meeting fellow blogger Christine of Design Esquire)
- Watching my husband have a minor breakdown while installing a new light fixture in our master bedroom that was inspired by a mood board from Young House Love
- Rearranging the display in our china cabinet so that it looks intentional
- Shopping with my mom
- Joining the iPhone user community – after much hemming and hawing – and spending Sunday night playing with my new toy
Tomorrow I’ll have more on what I learned at the decorating class, including some suggestions I received on how to improve our living room.

I’m looking forward to hearing the advice you received about your living room. I really enjoyed seeing the pictures of the decorating class at Design Esquire. How fun that the two of you met.
Hah! I wonder if your hubby has as foul a mouth as Dave when he hangs fixtures (the chandelier on the 16′ ceiling was definitely the worst).
And congrats on the iPhone…how fun!
