It’s a busy week full of evenings at the mall trying to finish up Christmas shopping, so here is a quick yet beautiful and inspiring photo for you, from this month’s House Beautiful mag:

You can see that I forgot to remove the dog-ear before scanning! I love the marble counters and marble subway tiles against the contrast of the black-topped stools. However, I think I would have opted for less industrial stools and fabric window covering to soften the look a bit. All white rooms can be in danger of appearing too sterile, and this kitchen has the potential for sterility. However, the styling with peach, pink, and orange pops of color in the flowers and fruit add a subtle feminine touch that’s warmed by the wood floors. Looks like donuts in that glass cake stand, and I want one!
