I flipped through the new Lonny and stopped dead in my tracks when I saw this fantastically feminine room. There’s no way in hell that my hubby would permit so many pinks and purples in our master bedroom, but this photo makes me want to change up the guest room completely (which he would also not be happy about since he insisted on the dark wall color).

Great selection to achieve the look — it would make a most inviting guest room! I’m actually thinking about painting our guest room a pale lavender, which would be an interesting contrast to the mustard and gray linens…I’m thinking that maybe together they wouldn’t be so girlie that Dave would nix the idea!

My husband wouldn’t be thrilled either. Whenever I see rooms in magazines decorated in pink I always envision a wealthy, but very single woman as the owner!
