Life is a journey, and I’m trying to make mine a chic one.  I’m a 30 year-old New Englander attempting to cook and decorate although I’m very much a novice at both. I spend my spare time…

  • Watching HGTV, SYTYCD,  and AI (and needlessly using acronyms)
  • Reading this month’s Book Club selection
  • Keeping up with my daily dose of design blogs
  • Obsessively reading Facebook to find out what’s happening with current and long-lost friends, and a few people who seem to have forgotten that we were never friends in the first place
  • Checking to see if Perez has added new photos of R. Patz

I have a minor obsession with shoes and handbags, which I’m trying to control in favor of spending my dough on decor for our new house.

My passion for travel and learning about other cultures began with a class trip to France when I was sixteen.  I minored in French in college, studied abroad in Brighton, England, and have worked in international marketing at a major software company for the past eight years.

For work and for pleasure, I’ve been privileged to visit many countries: Austria, Bahamas, Brazil, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, and United Kingdom (England and Scotland).
