Happy Monday, everyone! I'm happy to share a Goodwill project with you today. Unlike so many decor and DIY bloggers, I don't visit my local Goodwill store very often. When I do, I never find anything worth spending money on; just bad timing, I guess. That is, until I spotted a cute little rocking chair in the window of Goodwill one day. The Garage: Final Frontier of Organization

A major organizational project for our home in 2012 is the garage. The fact that we live in Boston and have a garage - let along a two-car garage - is an anomaly and a luxury. It's also a the primary storage facility in our home since we don't have an attic or basement. Since we moved to our home in the fall of 2008, we've accumulated a lot of stuff. Felt Flower Wreaths For All Seasons

On Christmas Eve I finished up my last holiday craft project, a felt flower wreath: I was inspired by a version that I found on Pinterest from Better Homes & Gardens, and used the instructions and template to make my own with some changes: Foolishly, I tried to wrap the wreath using one continuous piece of yarn. Working full-time, parenting, and blogging in 2011 left me with very little spare time, but I'm quite proud of the few crafting accomplishments made during such a busy year. The clerks at the JoAnn store near my office really should know my name by now. I've seriously been in there five times in the last two weeks. No lie. On Friday I went in there with a Christmas tree topper in mind, and walked out with a small mirror for $0.99 and popsicle sticks for $1.50 after a coupon.
